Art Photography? *And Katsucon!*

Seems a little redundant.

So I've had a massive lull in photography over the past month or so because of Uni, but the photography I have been doing is of my Dad's artwork. I've been given permission to put up my photography on here so you'll be seeing those soon! I know it doesn't seem like much skill goes into photographing objects like sculpture for the idea of showcasing them but...it really is harder than you'd think. So in order to show another side of my photography that I do and don't often put on display (even though It's hard to count as my own piece of work, I know. It's definitely my dad's and I'm just photographing it), I'll be putting the photos up sometime soon. Plus, I really want to help promote my dad's artwork so if you're interested, or if anyone you know is interested, go to one of his sites and get ahold of him! He'd love to talk.


Anyone else doing NaNoWriMo? This is my first time and good LORD is it getting intimidating. I fell behind when I got sick and I'm trying to catch up but the numbers...are just scary. 50,000 words was a lot more than I first thought.


Also!

I'll be attending Katsucon and have a few shoots already scheduled but if anyone else is interested, I would be more than glad to do a shoot with you! If you have any questions, just leave a comment.

I am an earth systems/environmental studies major who thrives when handed a camera. While it isn't my major, Photography definitely takes up the biggest chunk of my life (outside of my schoolwork and amazing boyfriend/muse).

You probably have seen me at Animazement or Otakon (2009, I worked in the PhotoSuite as a Photographer/Assistant) if you have attended. I'm usually seen with my Nikon D300 and camera bag that I'm hoping to fill up with more lenses and flashes soon enough.
